Data formats and constants

The API Reference remains the source of truth for fields required by an individual operation.

Identifiers

Resource identifiers are UUID strings unless an operation documents another format. Keep each identifier associated with its resource type and the integration or client path from which it was returned.

Treat clientId as the Axiym-issued client identifier and store it exactly as provided.

Decimal amounts

Amounts and rates are decimal strings:

{
  "amount": "1000.00",
  "rate": "56.5000"
}

Use decimal or fixed-point arithmetic. Do not convert monetary values to binary floating point and do not send them as JSON numbers.

Currency and country codes

  • Currency codes use uppercase three-letter values such as USD and PHP.
  • Country codes use ISO 3166-1 alpha-2 uppercase values such as SG and PH.

Dates and timestamps

ValueFormatExample
TimestampISO 8601 date-time in UTC2026-08-04T05:07:00Z

Product-specific enums, references, and encoded-data requirements are defined by the relevant guide and API Reference.
